MUSIC, SONGS & LITERACY
Every Tuesday from 21st April - 23rd June 2026
● Program Overview
What You’ll Learn
In these tutoring sessions, students strengthen reading and writing skills through music and songwriting. By composing lyrics, exploring rhythm, and creating simple songs alongside literacy activities, children deepen comprehension, expand vocabulary, and learn how to organise their ideas with greater clarity.
Working with words through melody and rhythm encourages thoughtful word choice, structure, and meaning. This creative approach supports different learning styles, increases engagement, and builds confidence - particularly for students who may feel hesitant about traditional literacy tasks.
